VSP Level Smart Glasses

You guys know I’m always on the prowl for the latest trends in health and fitness, and that’s why I was psyched to hear that I can now track my activity through my glasses! I know, I know, it sounds too good to be true, but VSP Global has created a new line of eyewear that syncs with your smartphone and tracks your steps all throughout the day! Forget about your bulky watches and wristbands: You can actually monitor your steps without any additional accessories, thanks to Level smart glasses.

I was a little bit skeptical when I first heard about the glasses and how they worked because I was sure that they would be bulky and awkward on my small head (it’s true, Ross and I literally always joke that I can wear kid-sized baseball caps)! I was pleased and surprised to know that the frames were stylish and subtle, exactly what I would buy for myself! You can purchase the Level smart glasses with a prescription or without one and just use them for style.

Since getting Level through Chapel Hills Vision Clinic (I got the Minsky frame in tortoise), I have been surprised how long the device stays charged and how easily it syncs my steps with the app on my phone. They are literally perfect for the busy entrepreneur on-the-go, and since I’m juggling my copywriting company, grad school, and my studio, let’s just say I spend a lot of time in glasses these days and on my computer! When the battery does run out after many days of use, you simply fold the arms of the glasses and hook up the micro USB cable into the side to charge. So easy!

One of the best things about Level is the fact that, every time you reach your step goal, you earn points. When you earn 50 points, the app automatically donates to a charitable cause of your choice at no extra cost to you! Their Eyes of Hope program takes the activity of your daily life and amplifies it to serve a greater cause and provide eye care and eyewear to populations in need.

If you want to learn more about the Level smart glasses, head over to their website, and check them out! You can search for a VSP network doctor in your area who carries Level here.
